Recently I was presented with the opportunity to photograph a collection of custom 1911 pistols. It was the opprtunity of a lifetime. While shooting the pictures I began to realize that my pictures were going to be a little boring regardless of the quality of the firearms. The problem was that all the pictures were taken the same way, laying on a colored background on a flat surface. I thought to myself it would be real nice to be able to hold the pistols upright and take the pictures at various angles. I mentioned my idea to the owner of the pistols and he recalled seeing CUSTOM FIREARM STANDS on the internet. So after the shoot was over and I was back at my pc I quickly hit Google to search for custom firearm stands. CFS was at the top of the results. It didnt take long for me to decide on a single pistol stand and magazine block for a full sized single stack 1911.
Shortly after placing my order I recieved an email from Mike Dehnke of CFS verifying that I was ordering the right magazine. I was impressed, this was surely a sign of good customer service.
