SCOPE RING ALIGNMENT LAP:

I saw one of these tools at Brownells. They refer to it as a SCOPE RING ALIGNMENT LAP and decided I could make one myself with parts I had laying around the office at the day job. The only thing I had to purchase is the black handle. The rod is made from case hardened precision THOMSON SHAFTING used with linear slides, ball slides etc. For lapping I use CLOVER LAPPING COMPOUND.
